Also served as 7884 in the Royal Naval Auxiliary Sick Berth Reserve and received the RNASBR Long Service Medal on 1 November 1946. The medal was sent to him at 63, Jowett Street, Burnley, Lancashire.

Died at Burnley, June 1971.
