The Colne and Nelson Times of 18th November 1918 reported, Another Nelson Military Medal. Sergeant A.R. Greenwood of 182, Pine Street, Nelson has received the Military Medal and Divisional Honours Certificate from Major-General Campbell of the 31st Division. Greenwood has seen much active service since the beginning of the war. His mother has lost her husband and a son during the war.
