Harry Davis BURNLEY YOUTH’S FATAL WOUNDS .(Burnley Express 12th October 1918) News has been received that Harry Davis whose parents reside at 34 Scarlett Street Burnley, has within the last few days died of wounds in a Casualty Clearing station in France. He belonged to the Suffolk Regiment and was only 19 years of age. He had only been out 2 months. He was formally a weaver at Burrows Mill, Whittlefield and attended Hargher Clough Day School. There is one of his brothers serving in the Flying Corp.
