I have a relative born in Burnley 13 Sep 1898 Arthur Courtney DRANSFIELD who used his step father's surname SUCKLING when he enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces in May 1916. Arthur was killed 14 April 1917 at Vimy Ridge aged 18 and is honoured at Bios-Carre British Cemetery, Thelus, but not in England or Canada.
He was buried (probably commemorated) with his parents Arthur and Mary and sisters Hilda and Dorothy in the DRANSFIELD plot in Burnley cemetery.
His father was Burnley Police Sergeant Arthur DRANSFIELD who died 1900. Don't have the details of his death to date.

(Information from his relative Chris Recker in Qld. Australia.)
