His parents were John E Holt and Elizabeth [nee Sagar]. They married in Burnley in 1890. John Hugh had a brother, George Herbert Holt [born 1896], who served in and survived WW1. He is present on your "Burnley Roll of Honour men who survived". George Herbert Holt subsequently married and named one of his sons, Hugh.
John Hugh had another brother Richard [born 1899] and a sister Edith Alice [born 1894].
John Hugh's mother, Elizabeth Sagar, being another cousin of Sarah Elizabeth Riley - whose photo appears on your website.
John Hugh Holt also appears in the "All Saints Football Club 1912-1913" - which I believe could be related to the All Saints church in Habgerham Eaves
