DIED AT ALEXANDRIA ( Burnley Express 25th January 1919)

Mrs. Kershaw of 19 Queensbury Road, Burnley has received word that her son Private Arthur Kershaw, aged 23 died of dysentery in the 17th General Hospital, Alexandria on the 12th inst. He joined up in May 1916 with the Dragoon Guards, afterwards being transferred to the London Yeomanry. He had been in Egypt twelve months. He formerly attended St Matthew’s Church and Sunday School. His younger brother, John, is serving in Salonika
