Ernest Percival Seeney was born in Matlock, Derbyshire in 1890. Enlisted at Blackburn 10.5.1915. Occupation given as Printer. Served with the 6th Battery 2/1st East Lancashire Brigade, RFA. Later re-designated C Battery, 330th Brigade Royal Field Artillery. Served in France from 3.3.1917. Wounded at Duty 28.9.1917. Then suffered a head wound and Died of Wounds on 23.101917 as 10th CCS. Buried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery. When personal belongings returned to his Mother she states that the watch and wallet were missing.
