This is my grandfather, husband of Eliza Short, father of Thomas, Richard, Raymond, Ann, Caroline, Harry. Brother of Tamzing.
This lovely gentle man, parents originally from Cornwall, returned to work in the coal mines in Burnley. My father Thomas was his eldest child. Still living are his sons Richard and Harry and his daughter Caroline.
