survived the war ,wounded he was in hospital in Liverpool where he stayed
after the war making a new life there.
This is my grandad enjoying a snooze in later life I reckon he earned it ! I remember sitting with him sometime in the early 1960 s when a small piece of shrapnel worked its way out of his chin-never batted an eyelid (All
