Son of Walter Lambert and Eliza Jane Heap.

1914-1918 Enlisted at Epsom September 1914.
Promoted to Corporal in 1916.
Served in France from 14/11/1915 to 15/12/1916.
He was discharged on the 1st January, 1919.
The sad ending is that having survived the war he committed suicide at 5, Hollin Villas, Victoria Avenue, Brierfield aged 45 years.
His inquest was held on the 22nd February 1934.
He was survived by his wife Jane Millar and children Christine Mary Lambert and Frances Lambert.

He was my first cousin
