my Grandfather Alexander George McKay with my father Alec McKay on the right my Grandma Laura McKay nee Ingham and Dads brother Edward McKay on the left. Edward was awarded the Distinguished Service medal in the 2nd World War whilst in the Navy and aboard the Jamaica for the tracking of the German Battle Ship the Scharnhorst which was sunk on the 23rd December 1943.
