Brother of Harold Pickles Royal Welsh Fusiliers - Lost at Sea 10th August 1918

Arrested for being AWOL for about three months straight after enlisting. His SWB record shows enlisted 9 February 1916 and discharged 'sick' on the 14 August 1917. Entitled to British War and Victory Medals and SWB number 126138. Was only overseas from 1 May 1917 until 30 June 1917 and the entry on his papers looks like he was sent home with suspected TB. He died at Blackpool on the 9 June 1926 and had been suffering from Pulmonary TB according to the pension cards.
