W T Shorthouse was a private in the Durham
Light Infantry and survived the war, residence
1 Bulcock St, Burnley. I have attached a letter
from his wife Lizzie (nee Elizabeth A Wilson)
on the occasion of the death of her brother in law,
Joe Shorthouse, in France.

Born in Wigan in 1880, died 4/7/19167 in Newcastle upon Tyne,
cousin of Sydney Nicholls KIA
