This is my great-uncle, husband of Annie, brother of Eliza, father of one daughter (Eliza/Elizabeth she married Jack Love but died quite young in a car crash leaving 2 young daughters, Maureen and Kathleen Love.)

I heard that this lovely man was taken prisoner during WW1 and repatriated by the Red Cross through Geneva. Also that his fiancée Annie went out to Switzerland where they were married............. I don’t have any proof of this at the moment. He and his wife are dead but their grand-daughters are alive.
