100997 Kings Liverpool Regiment
Lived at 3 Rider Court

(Photo of my Grandfather. Albert Smith. Also group photo taken May 6th 1915 Eastbourne.)

We are trying to trace my Grandfather Albert Smith. From Burnley.
He Joined the 2/East Lancs Regt. Pte 12603 proceeded overseas 11/12/1914.
Transferred to 1st Garrison BN The Knights Liverpool Regt. PtE 28750. Served in Egypt from 1915 to end of war.
Re-Enlisted into Kings Regt. SGT 100997.
We believe he joined the M.O.D around 1920 (we know he is listed on the electoral roll of Burnley up to 1920) after that he was sent to France on bomb disposal where we believe he was blow up. After that we have no information. We would appreciate any further help you could give us.

Many Thanks
