Enlisted 19 September 1914, discharged due to wounds on the 25 December 1917. Married Elsie Riley of Burnley on the 26 February 1929 whilst living at Flixton (had been working in the Cameroons). Died Flixton on the 20 April 1936. WW1 pair and SWB number 292770 was his full entitlement.
