Sergeant James Sullivan

The attached is of Sgt James (Jim) Sullivan (East Lanc 15733) and his wife Ellen Nichols. They were married in Q3 1915.

Jim signed up to the 3 East Lanc (Special Reservists) in June 1914, but I see on your site you have him with 11 East Lancs.

Jim survived the war. My father recognized him and gave me the name to the photo a number of years ago, although I’m not clear whether he was a family friend or relative (research for another day!).
