Lived at 8 Mason Street
A photograph of my maternal grandfather
John Robert (Jack) Wiseman, 117061, Bdr, 8 Mason Street, Burnley.
He served in the Boer War and WW1 in the Coldstream Guards. He was poisoned
with Mustard Gas and this affected his chest for the rest of his life.
He was a Burnley coal dealer and in later years became a lamplighter in
the Caldervale area.
