The soldier marked with the X is 202602 Private Tom Driver photographed here with other soldiers from the 1/5th East Lancashire Regiment.The soldier to his left (our right) is 241677 Pte. Robert Henry Heys from Bacup, he was killed on the 28th April 1917

This postcard was offered for sale on E-Bay in August 2007.It show s a Lancashire Fusilier and the photograph was taken at the studio of T Taylor Standish Road, Burnley.
The man in the back row between the two men with caps is Wilfred Ratcliffe who lived at 76 Padiham Road. As I have details for two men at this address, whith this name I am not sure which one this is. They could have been father and son, or even the same man who served in different regiments
