It’s Jenny on a visit to Clitheroe - July 8th 1916.
Occasion was a Parade Gala Day for the benefit of Lord Robert’s
Memorial Home & St. Dunstan’s Hostel for the Blind. Sum of
£300- 10s- 0d was raised .
Clitheroe’s Mayoress later sent Jenny a silver tray with Clitheroe
coat of arms on it as thanks for attending the event. ( No doubt she
sold it for funds !!!)
