Died 15th July 1917
Enlisted in Burnley, lived at 118 Barnes Street, Clayton-le-Moors
Buried in Clayton-le-Moors (St. Mary's) Churchyard, UK

Hi Andrew - I am trying to trace my grandfather Henry Cullen who served
with the Coldstream Guards from about 1902 when he was married - then with
the Royal Defence Corps until his death in 1917. He is buried in a CWG
grave in St Mary's churchyard - Clayton -le-Moors. What I would like
to find out is how and where he died. I cannot find anything in the Lancs
BMD deaths records. The only clue I have is that he was probably in
Portsmouth with the RDC and died in hospital there. Name - Pte Henry
Cullen - Coldstream Guards No. 13500 RDC No 43269 - 205 Protection
Company. I think he enlisted in Burnley.
My address is Peter Cullen 4/10 Albert Place, Mt Barker SA 5251
Australia
