Birtwistle Haworth was my great uncle.
Birtwistle was the youngest child of James Frederic Haworth and Margaret Haworth (nee Birtwistle), brother to Stanley, Rosanna and Lilley of 55 Todmorden Rd Burnley.
Birtwistle was born in Parbold, Lancs he later lived at One Oak , 4 Naden Rd. Greenbooth at time of enlistment
His occupation was listed as a cotton crofter .
The Haworth family attended the Wesleyan Church Bagslate Norden, Burnley

So young and full of life, who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
