Private Edward Metcalfe
Nice to know he'll be remembered somewhere. There were thousands of British soldiers buried there - first one I found was from the 1840's - but the graveyard was gradually being reused and a lot of the British graves were being removed and reused. There were some CWCC stones ( not his) that I assume will be kept but the guys that had just died on service over there are gradually being removed ( including the one who had been mauled by a tiger!!)
