1917 0605 - Neuve Eglise - KILLED when shells fell near the men's bivouacs
& officer's mess
1917 0605 - ERNEST DALE OGLE Gunner 66804 91st Siege Bty., Royal Garrison
Artillery who died on Tuesday, 5th June 1917. Age 23.

1917 June 5 - NEUVE ENGLISE – 70 rounds at H.B. O.33 b. 60.60 Aeroplane
observation. 55 rounds on a blockhouse at O.31 b.85.65 poor results.
During the afternoon shells fell near battery bivouacs and officers Mess
causing the following casualties:- No. 66804 Gunner E Ogle killed. - No.
64117 Gunner H.S. Jones shell shock, - No. 275183 R.S.M. H.C. Fish, No
24456 B.S.M.S G. Baker No. 59901, Gunner F. Gray and No. 73391 Gunner
Shkowesky slightly wounded and returned to duty. “X” day of
