BURNLEY CONVOY DRIVER STRUCK DOWN

Mrs. Wills of 67a Lower-Bank-parade Burnley, has received the intelligence that her son, Driver (23507) Richard Wills of the Army Service Corps, has died from wound received whilst on duty in France. The official intimation states that his death occurred on October 27th, at a place between Ypres and Boulogne. Driver Wills was a reservist, 28 years of age and was called up at the beginning of the war, leaving Bradford for the front on September 14th. It is supposed that he received his wounds whilst engaged on convoy duty
