On
the 29th June 1919 a stained glass window was unveiled at Hargreaves Street
Wesleyan Chapel
by Mr. & Mrs. William Lancaster to commemorate the men of the chapel, and
Red Lion Street School, who lost their lives. This included their son - Lieut
William Oliver Lancaster. To the left of the window was a "massive"
oak tablet bearing the names of the fallen.
