Has anyone any old photographs of Burnley streets or factories?
The face of Burnley is changing rapidly, many old factories are now either empty or derelict. The "Elevate" campaign is demolishing whole rows of terraced streets at a very fast rate.
I intend to add a section to the site showing photographs of the Burnley factories (or pits) where the soldiers worked and also a section showing photographs of the streets.
If anyone has any old photographs of factories, pits or streets (or individual houses) I would be very grateful of a scanned copy to add to the site.
