"The guy at camp is a Burnley soldier, but I don't know who. Photo taken by D Collister, Waverley Terrace, Broadway, Douglas, IOM"

"I am also sending you a photograph of three soldiers to which no one can put a name to. These were amongst some photographs of a Lee family and it is possible that one of them is a Lee; possibly Miles Lee, who appears on your survivors list. But no member of the family is sure. Should you decide to put it on your site someone may have knowledge of them. I myself am curious about them as they have been lying round my house for some time. I married someone who had Lees in their family back in this era. "

I also have another photo of a very young soldier whose name I do not know.
I believe he too was a friend of uncle John.
Uncle John Walker served in the Royal Marines on
HMS Bellerophon at the battle of Jutland and at the Dardanelles

Another blank postcard found in the effects of Josiah Musgrove’s daughter.
Do not know anything about the band, maybe Josiah is a member(?).
But again with help from Burnley Library, the mayor in the middle is Roger Hargreaves who served 1918/1920.
