I will be seeing my mum re the Ypres bell next weekend. We spoke on the phone and she is convinced that Florence Atkinson (mother to Harold, Herbert and Roy) went to Ypres with other mothers and they were all presented with a bell. She also remembered seeing another Ypres bell that was presented to another family so I don't think it was a souvenir like I thought.

When Florence died my grandad took the 'Ypres' bell she recieved when she visted Harold's grave in Duhallow and my mum has the bell to this day.
