BELATED NEWS OF BURNLEY YOUTH

Pte. Rd. Eastwood, whose home was at 2, Bruce-st., Accrington-rd., Burnley, is now officially reported to have been killed on Sept. 21st, 1917 – over twelve months ago. He belonged to the 2/4 London Regt. (295365), and was 19 years of age, and single. He had been in the Army two years when he lost his life, and had been out since April, 1916. He had been wounded on one occasion. He was formerly employed as a bundler at Cowpe’s Mill, Hargher Clough, and attended Holy Trinity Sunday School, being on the roll of honour there.
