"The guy at camp
is a Burnley soldier, but I don't know who. Photo taken by D Collister,

"I am also sending you a photograph of three soldiers to which no
one can put a name to. These were amongst some photographs of a Lee family
and it is possible that one of them is a Lee; possibly Miles Lee, who
appears on your survivors list. But no member of the family is sure. Should
you decide to put it on your site someone may have knowledge of them.
I myself am curious about them as they have been lying round my house
for some time. I married someone who had Lees in their family back in
this era. " (courtesy of Irene Crook)

I also have another
photo of a very young soldier whose name I do not know.
I believe he too was a
friend of uncle John.
